A welcoming, witchy space built on curiosity, care, and collective power.
Cozy Coven is an online community for witches and pagans of all paths—religious or secular, new or seasoned—who want to learn, connect, and grow in a friendly, no-gatekeeping space. Since 2020, Cozy Coven has been a soft place to land for hundreds of practitioners navigating life, magic, and everything in between.
You are welcome here, no matter who you are.

About Cozy Coven
Cozy Coven was founded in April 2020 during the early days of the pandemic to create an open, welcoming, and low-stakes space for witches and pagans. What started as a casual Discord server has grown into a thriving, heart-led community of all types committed to mutual support, learning, and magical curiosity.
For five years, our community has remained a completely free resource, where people have stayed for years, sharing their practices, successes, support, and lives.
We also have a thing about Trivia.

Cozy Coven is a witchcraft and pagan Discord server for all levels of practitioners. Discord is a platform that allows folks to chat individually (DMs) or in communities (like ours).
We have a welcoming, no-gatekeeping environment with a variety of different people all over the world on different paths, including spiritual and secular, traditional Wicca, Hellenistic, solitary, eclectic, green, Satanic, and several more.
We curate themed channels, lots of different roles, and voluntary server events like the occasional group ritual, Sabbat celebrations, giveaways, and discussion questions. It's perfect for those who want to participate in a low-stakes, friendly coven environment and learn with others.
We keep Cozy Coven around 200 members but only a small fraction of that number participates weekly. Most of us are in our 20s, 30s, and beyond, but anyone 13+ is welcome, in line with Discord’s rules. We work hard to make sure it’s a safe, respectful space for everyone.Cozy Coven is a queer-friendly, BIPOC-welcoming, neurodivergent-affirming space. We welcome witches of all identities.

These are the only requirements for joining the server:
1. You practice (or are planning on practicing) witchcraft/paganism.
2. You participate in discussions once in a while.
Cozy Coven is run by Admins and Moderators called the staff team. We are entirely volunteers. When you join our server, you'll be greeted in the "Coven Door" channel by a staff member. This gives us a chance to say hello and answer any questions you may have before you join the rest of the server. We've made it super easy with a template for you to fill out—just a little bit about yourself and how you found us.
You gain more access to the server as you participate. Here are the participation rankings and what they mean:
🌙 Friend: This is for new members! We're so excited to have you You have access to almost everything.
🌙 Initiate: After a few days of chatting, you gain access to our more personal channels, like selfies, a support chat, two channels for adults only (on witchcraft and memes), and a couple others. This is full access.
🌙 Acolyte: For our active members that have been part of the server for a bit. Depending on activity, it can take a couple months to a year+ to become an Acolyte. This gives you access to a more intimate space where staff will very occasionally ask for your help, feedback, opinions, and ideas. -
Most rules are straightforward and fall under the general idea of "be a decent person." Follow them within a reasonable interpretation and you will be just fine. 🔮 We welcome questions and invite members to reach out to staff with any that come up.
RULE 1
Act with kindness, respect, and safety.
We don’t define what it means to be a witch or pagan, or to practice witchcraft or paganism; i.e., no gatekeeping the community. We use respectful language when discussing ourselves and other people.
We happily follow all of Discord’s rules, including not posting explicit content, pirated or illegal content, and separating content with adult themes to age-restricted channels.
RULE 2Keep conversations in the right places.
This rule is around using our channels correctly. You’ll be able to read the full text once you’re added to the server. Because it’s boring and administrative, we didn’t include it here.
RULE 3
Do not spam, advertise, or self-promote.
Members are welcome to share their own content—like blogs, shops, or socials—but only in the designated channel. You must participate in the server beyond this, and access is not immediately granted upon entry.
Generally speaking, we don’t allow external server invites, fundraisers, or wishlists.
OTHER POLICIES
On Content Warnings:
We ask that members exhibit respectfulness to common triggers and make an effort to keep those items out of chat. Trigger warnings aren’t required, but many add them anyway.
On Activity Requirements:
Occasionally, we prune the server. We want to encourage participation and create a cozy atmosphere. We also understand that some enjoy lurking. To that end, we have relaxed criteria that should only prune truly inactive users.
In General…
Members are encouraged to help make our server an uplifting, positive space, and we ask that everyone do their part to warmly support new additions to our cozy community.

We often have events that coincide with Sabbats and the seasons.
SPRING/FALL FAIRS
Fairs are major productions that take months of planning, put on by staff and members of the server. Fairs have:classes taught by members on all types of witchcraft, from button magic to ancestor contact.
activities you can do at your own pace (like making poems on a theme), or with community (like our group crafting hour or spooky story times).
games, competitive and cooperative, among which trivia is an absolute favorite.
shopping and discounts from our crafty members
prizes
daily giveaway drawings
Participation is always free; all time & gifts are donated by staff and members. Anyone can host an event of any kind. These usually occur in March/April and October.
YULE GIFT EXCHANGE
Staff hosts a secret gift exchange for members of the server to send each other winter presents every year around Yule. We also do spells for specific members who ask for help and positive energy. Depending on staff capacity, we sometimes have a mini-fair celebrating “12 Days of Yule” with a few light activities.
GROUP SPELLS AND RITUALS
Since Cozy Coven began, we have held group spells, rituals, and meditations around the sabbats or whenever we feel like it. They are truly magical. Anyone can host.
